PROIMAKLIM — the Center for Tropical Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation Innovation at Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta — develops tropical climate science powered by GeoAI, satellite data, and community networks. We invite researchers and institutions worldwide to build a joint research consortium with us.

About PROIMAKLIM

Applied, evidence-based tropical climate science

PROIMAKLIM designs multidisciplinary research to address climate change challenges in the tropics — combining AI and satellite imagery, community participation, and local policy integration. The approach is built in stages: from risk mapping and early prototypes to nationally replicable, cross-sector models.

With a strong scientific foundation and cross-sector support, we aim to make a real contribution to carbon emission reduction, tropical community adaptation, and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) — together with academia, government, the private sector, and civil society.
